1. Scope and Definitions

1.1 StromNow UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Blankenfelder Dorfstraße 34, 15827 Blankenfelde-Mahlow, Germany (hereinafter “StromNow”, “we” or “us”), provides users (“user” or “you”) with the “StromNow” app for iOS and Android as well as the website https://www.stromnow.com. The use of these services is governed exclusively by the following Terms of Use.

1.2 These Terms of Use apply to the use of the app, the website and the contract concluded between StromNow and the user upon registration for the services. Access to and use of the service requires that the user accepts and complies with these Terms. By registering or using the app, the user accepts these Terms worldwide. Mandatory statutory consumer protection provisions in the respective countries remain unaffected. Certain functions, in particular charging sessions, may be subject to additional country-specific restrictions, which the user must review before subscribing or using the respective function.

2. Description of Services

2.1 The app enables users to find and use charging points for electric vehicles. StromNow acts as an independent electric mobility provider / EMP, but does not own its own charging infrastructure / CPOs. The charging infrastructure is provided by third-party providers.

2.2 The app offers, in particular, the following functions:

Available free of charge or depending on availability:

• display of charging points and charging information;
• access to charging points operated by third-party providers. The availability and functionality of these charging points are the responsibility of the respective third-party providers;
• booking and use of charging sessions at the start prices, kWh prices, minute-based fees, idle fees and blocking fees set by StromNow;
• connection to the user’s electric vehicle for the collection of vehicle data;
• routing function for intelligent route planning to suitable or nearby charging points;
• additional functions displayed in the app.

Depending on the selected tariff, subscription model, platform, country or feature scope, additional functions may be available, e.g. enhanced route planning, vehicle connection, intelligent price and charging information, CarPlay, navigation, StromNow Intelligence, price-optimized routing or other premium functions. The specific available scope of services is determined by the service description displayed in the app.

Available only in some countries:

On-the-go charging and certain premium functions may not be available in all countries. StromNow is continuously expanding its service to additional countries. Current information can be found in the app.

Please note that the speed camera warning function may only be offered in certain countries or regions due to regional laws and contractual requirements. The user is solely responsible for complying with the applicable legal provisions.

2.3 StromNow offers charging services at its own prices, which are displayed in the app. These prices may differ from the prices of third-party providers.

3. Registration and Conclusion of a User Agreement

3.1 The use of StromNow’s services requires prior registration and the creation of a user account. As part of the registration process, users may be asked to provide personal information such as email address, password, first name, last name, title and address. The user must provide complete and truthful information.
